About

This project was born out of countless conversations with women seeking guidance on solo dance training. When I reflect on my own journey in dance, I realize the moments that truly transformed my skills were the hours I spent alone at home, drilling the foundational movements essential for Kizomba partner dancing. While having a coach to guide me and offer feedback was invaluable, the real progress came when I committed to practicing those “simple” moves for three to four hours a day. That dedication to solo training laid the foundation for my growth as a dancer. I created this course to provide you with the tools and structure you need to enhance your solo training. How much you gain from it will depend entirely on your own commitment and effort. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique, build confidence, or simply enjoy the process, this course is designed to support your journey. Welcome to Hip Movement, a series where I share my personal approach to training for hip movement. These exercises are designed not only to enhance your skills but also to adapt to different dance genres based on your interests. My inspiration for this series comes from the fluidity of Tarraxinha movements and the foundational techniques in Kizomba.
